Ok folks, alert time with an action plan. It is apparently legal now for ICE to enter k-12 schools. Most American schools have a lockdown system that doesn't allow the public into the front door without someone buzzing you in, and they frown on activism in their halls by outside agitators. (Rightly so.)

However, what you can do, during a time of calm, is make an appointment to visit people in the administration, give them your number and tell them that you can be at the school in Y, (Y=time from house, etc.), so that you can document ICE and the kids.

Police cannot stop you from filming, although they may try, so the more of you in the phone chain, the better.

We may/may not be able to stop them from kidnapping babies to sell into slavery, but we can sure as fuck document them doing it, and show the faces of the victims so their family and lawyers can identify them.

@Janeishly I’m glad I live in a civilised country. A democracy, where such a thing is unthinkable. Unfortunately the US now are a police state, not a democracy.
I was a teacher. The first thing I’d have organized is a good hiding place in the School for all kids who could be targeted by the fascist. Lock the schools doors, and while ICE tries to enter, you hide the kids. Like under the Nazis and the Gestapo, but I guess that’s what the US have become.

@dgavin They definitely would. I've spent time in France and now Sweden where bloody Le Pen and Sverigedemokraterna respectively are absolutely intent on doing the same.

These people just cannot bear the idea of a society where we all just get on with our fun little hobbies, while contributing as little as possible to climate change (which, essentially, is all the rest of us want).
