Today, we remember all the victims murdered during the Holocaust, and we stand with those who survived.
We also mark the 81st anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.
This dark memory must be passed to future generations.
Never again.

That left me to research the answer myself. Wickold Pilecki allowed himself to be captured and interred in Aushwitz where he was able to report on and smuggle out information about what was going on in the camp. It's true that Western allies chose to suppress that information.

I suppose you haven't heard of Operation Osoaviakhim in 1946 that transported several thousand scientists, engineers and their families from Soviet occupied Germany to USSR.

never again (complicity in) genocide,
never again camps,
never again dehumanising & discrimination.
"never again" means to fight against all those who are committing genocide,
Action against those who are building camps, who are committing war crimes, discriminating or dehumanizing. You are doing the opposite.
Your post is hypocrisy.

They promised for years, but nothing changed and families are still waiting for the return of their loved ones' mementos. How much longer will this take? Museum makes money off someone else's property, regardless of the fact that belongings should return home. It is a shame and disgrace for the Polish government that it does not keep its promises!
