On the plus side, my city has put new EV chargers at our libraries, for those who are driving EVs.

It would be nice to have a bike rack near a bunch of power outlets to be able to lock the bike up and charge the batteries while at the library, store, etc.

Idea: ask one of them if you could charge your bike off their plug...
Hassle... and probably would run into a couple No's... but I bet you'd get a lot of yes... and interesting conversations while you wait.
