New to Friendica myself, hi! Realising it's another way of interacting with what's on Mastodon, so it's a matter of following the hashtags and contributors you like, I guess. Sometimes you'll see people sharing hashtags and account names worth following. So maybe keep following those hastags you like, and say hi to people who are talking about them?
