DIY feminising HRT injection

Weekly injection done :TransHeart:

~7.5 mg (0.15 mL; 50 mg/mL concentration) estradiol enanthate injected intramuscularly into the vastus lateralis in our left thigh using our Union Medico auto-injector.

Sorry that we still haven't reviewed the auto-injector formally yet. Now that we're clawing back some of our executive function, we may actually get around to it soon. The short version is that it's pretty great and makes injections much easier.

DIY feminising HRT injection

That's closer to where I am. I can sometimes go up to 0.08 mL (4 mg) / 7 days.

When I started HRT through the medical system, I got androcur and it had the same effect. I tried microdosing it down to a quarter of a pill once a week (the prescribed dosage was 1 pill a day) and it still drained me each time to the point of not being able to get out of bed for a few days. I'm not touching it anymore.

Maybe it just means that my testosterone level is naturally very low.

@lulu Our body is weird with estradiol injections. The estradiol level we get from the amount injected is way less than simulators suggest. For each 1 mg we inject, our estradiol level goes up by about 110 to 125 pmol/L (~30 to 34 pg/mL), so we typically need about 6 to 8 mg weekly to keep our trough high. We feel better with a higher estradiol level, and even with a high level and progesterone, our testosterone level rarely goes below 2.4 nmol/L (~69 ng/dL).

@elexia Mine was 10 mg and ΒΌ was still too much.

I also know that when I was injecting 4 mg weekly in an early phase of my DIY HRT (after I had already stopped cypro), my blood tests showed a very low testosterone level, so I felt reassured in my monotherapy approach.

From what you wrote it sounds like cypro wasn't working for you either.
