in reply to Nice Micro • • •Great video! I was fascinated by myself, because I actually knew the proper Dunning-Kruger effect, I read the wiki page, looked at the graphs, everything. But still, for some reason, the pop-sci "meme" interpretation had weaselled its way into my brain until I watched this and realised what it actually says again.
And yes, in a lot of cases, there are actual grifters and con artists described by it. Well, also narcissists I guess, although more likely than not, narcissists that are also con artists.
