If these economic "experts" were the financial geniuses they like to cosplay as, it wouldn't need to be explained to them why people won't spend money they don't have. And no, extending people more credit was never the answer. Every dollar spent on interest is another dollar you don't have for goods and services, so that was only ever a short term fix that's now running out. If prices "can't" come down and wages "can't" go up, guess why the economy is faltering?

I really dislike fallacy posts like Cory's here. It makes the assumption that 'Boomers' are a single group with a single point of view and that 'unusual_wales' is a spokesperson for that group. Neither assumption is true. Parents have always lectured theirs and other children to save more, unusual_whales is a bunch of crypto bros associated with polymarket. I would be surprise if the venn diagram of both groups had any intersection at all. 1/2

Das yes. I was speaking with one "high tech" guy on discord, he was very pride that he has 3000$ video card. He was directly insulting me with violent / sleng words. like SYBAU (shut you bitch something...)

We ended up where two main server members stated that they are willing to kill lgbt people.

Finally, the server owner said me to shut up (SYBAU). I did so and left the server.

. The statement wasn’t exclusive to β€œdevices”. It sited spending that every generation spends on. It does not however present a comparative for the debate, as in they spend less in contrast to other generations? Or less than five years ago? It’s a limited qoute with unlimited potential to exploit for good or ill. It also presents no context for why. The why is the discussion we need the have, other wise this is a β€œMountains out of Mole Hills” moment .

I would've boosted this if it has a politics CW, I can't quote it because quoting is off, so I just made a link instead. I figured I'd give you a heads up that I'm running into this though.

I'd really prefer for it to either have the CW, or allow me to quote-boost it so I can add the CW if you prefer not adding the CW-- which I'd understand, but it's one of the other for me, and now it's just a link without preview instead, which is a shame.
