Regardless, the problem with police is not that many are “poorly trained” or that “many are abusive.” The fundamental point of policing in America is abuse! This isn’t a “whoops” mistake, it’s an institution of violence.

Cops aren’t trained poorly; they are trained precisely to hurt you. That’s why they hurt so many people!
