Artist Talk with Bisila Noha
London-based ceramic artist Bisila Noha has work in the touring exhibition "Body Vessel Clay," first shown in London in 2022 and now on view at the Ford Foundation in New York. The show is a display of work by Black women ceramic artists include Simone Leigh, Magdelene Odundo, Adebunmi Gbadebo and many more. In this virtual artist talk, Noha shares vibrant photo & video documentation describing how her travels, most recently to Nigerian and Senegal, inform her work and perspective as an artist. This is something I kinda wanna do one day, actually.
