@burningTyger
I've heard of some instances where
- an organized community group or just a couple of friends started clearing bike lanes
- this carried on for years
- one day their machine broke or the person who was doing it got sick
- citizens complained to city council that the bike lanes weren't being cleared
- council was suprised to learn that they were ever cleared
- that established expectation led the city to buy equipment and start clearing the bike lanes

I found the manufacturer. I would also consider a xyz-cargo-trike/quad with integrated sweeper. This would allow for integrating the sweeper in the drivetrain for pure muscle power...

@jakob_thoboell I would not recommend a sweeper integrated into a bike. trailer is better, because it can move a bit sideways without forcing the rider to compensate. See also: youtube.com/watch?v=XaO9cSFZdA… where he mentions control problems with variable sideways forces.

We have a trial one in Auckland

An e-bike lending scheme changed what my next ride will be. Could it change yours?
