FINALLY! In Paris, Olaf Scholz has had enough of Trump and draws a clear line:

1. Trump talking about peace negotiations and European troops in Ukraine is “deeply annoying”, “wrong”, and “untimely” because Ukraine is not in peace negotiations but in a war.

2. Germany will keep supporting Ukraine (No matter what Trump does).

3. Ukraine must never be forced to accept peace terms.

4. NATO will still be the corner stone of European defence.

In short: Trump can take his ideas and shove them. 🔥

Whoa, #Scholz number 4 = ridiculus. #usa just broke the #nato up. He will end the boycot of #russia very soon. He want to sell a lot of military stuff to the #eu for exorbitant pricess. It bears repeating. During his visit to Germany, JD Vacuous avoided meeting with Germany's head of state, a fairly acidic breach of protocol. He did meet with the head of a far-right Nazi party, called the Alternative fur Deutschland, which is well beyond an acidic breach of protocol.

I do hope the Left and Centre Left at home here in Canada are paying attention. There is a strong, global sentiment of “fuck that guy. What an asshole” that is just waiting for leaders with a little bit of spine to stand with.
