Admin access

!SCA friends (Unofficial)

Friendica has a feature where a group can have several admins (i.e. parent role). Anyone want to become admin of this group as well so we can test if it works?

Added you now as a "page delegate", parent is reserved for the creator. I have no idea what you can and what you can't do, feel free to experiment.

And I'm in, sort of. Looks like I cannot edit the group profile (which the documentation says delegates should be able to), but I do see group members in a way that suggests I'd be able to kick people out. Not going to try that one 😄

It turned out that these group delegates need to have an account on the same server as the group. So I can't add you because you're in friendica.world and the group is on capybara.community, sorry.

But this was a good thing, testing different functions and learning how this works and what are the limitations.

no worries. If there is something I can for the group without being a cabybara, let me know 😀

One of the restrictions I just found out that these group "page delegates" need to be on the same server as the group. Not a showstopper, just needs a bit more thought when deciding which server to use.
