Star Wars is played out and overdone. Too many Star Trek spinoffs lose sight of what made the series special. We need a new major science fiction franchise to capture the zeitgeist. Mostly because I want a cool sci-fi show.

Might I suggest Space Fox?

Space Fox pilots the Aether on an intercept course with another ship and past a ringed planet.

Looking at the state of the world, I think the kind of science fiction we need is rather some cyberpunk story taking place on Earth twenty minutes into the future.
