For tonight’s escapades with the 2015 MacBook, here are the distros I tried and failed to instal and/or had major issues:
1) Alpine Linux- installed but had issues with network manager going on the fritz

2) Gentoo- the manual was not as friendly as I thought.

3) GhostBSD & NomadBSD- black screen of death

3) EndeavorOS- stuck on the install at 12% (same stop) mm

4) Solus- black screen of death after boot

4) Mabox- works but issues with my WiFi not connecting.
