#WritersCoffeeClub 7, What future writing goals are you working towards with your present work?

I want to get the entire arch of the series down in more details. Currently, I have outlines, fragments, and sketches, but I need a clearer grasp on it. So, I should be writing on, instead of editing, but the chaos monkey that is my brain decided to latch onto some details of book 4. Which isn't bad, it requires a bit of rewriting, but it might not be super efficient.

I have the storyboard all written and mapped out, along with names and descriptions of the characters, however I reached a bit of a writers block in spite of this!

Hopefully my 25 days vacation over Yule will help get my creativity flowing again.

Sounds like a wise investment to me. A happy, healthy, and relaxed creative is always the most efficient.

I'm fighting to keep my solstice free from obligations this year. I need a touch of rebirth and realignment this time of year. But it often drowns in Christmas prep.

Fortunately I am Solitary by Practice and also in life, so the only real preparation I have is for myself. I feel that this time of the year is a good time to be solitary. It is like hibernating, including the occasional stir to see the World, before going back to hibernating.

It can be good for creativity, and for the soul.

Yes, it's a good time for introspection, self-care, and shadow work. I often wonder if that's why having to visit parent, in-laws, etc, can feel so forced for many this time of year. Not that I don't adore my family, but I wonder if it's why we all feel an urge to hibernate.

If you ever want to chat, you know where to find me. While many of us walk a seemingly solitary path, that doesn't mean we can't stop for a spot of tea together. πŸ’œ
