I grew up and still live in an intensely red area. Most of the bible thumpers here spout convenient phrases but have no idea what the bible says, so I read up a bit to confuse them with the actual words and meanings.

This seems to me like a very good general observation when looking at the consequences of worshipping power. Not only #maga but worldwide and timeless, in the largest matters, down to the smallest union of interpersonal encounters. I agree with the poster.
