To those who design anything and stick AI in it... You can let go of your dreams that I will use it. I don't think you realize how long I held out on getting a cell phone, or how long I stayed at 4 by 3, or how adamantly I refuse to have a car with a connected "infotainment" screen.
I love tech... but I am pretty damn good at digging in my heals when you insist I "need" something I find repulsive or useless.

@arti My '05 is about as new a car as I'm willing to tolerate, and I'm already ripping pissed there isn't a din sized hole in the dash for me to shove a different stereo in.
Happily, the previous owner did NOT get the in-dash navi, but the car has a hole for it currently occupied by a rather useless cubbie with door. I've been brainstorming what I can cram in there - something with a Ras pi (or similar) and a screen, running whatever *I* want

@arti Cute that you think I can afford a garage.

My MAC addresses are randomized, except when on my home network or my bestie's network.
I love that I can change my MAC. There's so much shit I can do with that. Oh, need a fucking app cause there's no web browser on PS Portal? Nah, I'll set my phone's MAC to the Portal's, click the ok, then connect the Portal.
Oh, only my work phone is allowed? Heh heh heh.
Ah, only my ISP's equipment is an approved router? *cackling*

I can't change my game handhelds' MAC addresses... so I do keep that in mind when deciding when and where and how to use them.
Hmm... I wish I had some cash cause I just had an idea I could probably find software for.
A little box, with a simple screen, and two wifi radios. (well, 4) One side connects to wifi with a random mac, the other side connects to my handhelds. Little screen let's me click the "I promise not to look at illegal shit on your wifi" page.
