Jesus, the Once-for-All Perfect Sacrifice: The Only Atonement for Sin


Why did Jesus Christ have to die on the cross? The Bible reveals that the sacrifices of the Old Testament pointed to one perfect and final sacrifice—the Lord Jesus Christ. Unlike repeated animal sacrifices, Jesus, the sinless Son of God, offered Himself once for all as our substitute, bearing the punishment for the sins of the whole world.
