The death of Jesus Christ on the cross accomplished far more than the forgiveness of sins—it opened a new and living way into the presence of God. Unlike the Old Testament high priests who repeatedly offered sacrifices, Jesus entered God's presence once for all with His own precious blood and obtained eternal redemption for mankind. As our Great High Priest, He continually intercedes for all who come to God through Him, offering complete salvation and access to God's grace.
