Via CBC News:Prime Minister #MarkCarney, speaking in Ottawa, says that #Canada will respond to the U.S. auto tariffs with retaliatory trade actions.
The response will “have maximum impacts in the U.S.” and minimum impacts in Canada.
He adds that the government will protect workers and build a new Canadian economy.
“I reject any attempts to weaken Canada,” Carney said.
He says he'll be speaking to Trump in a day or 2.
