Still grieving the loss of a friend. I am probably going to play some Animal Crossing later today.
Society is like a skyscraper... the bottom represents the poor, the unhoused, those with next to nothing if anything at all, and as you go up you move through the different tiers of wealth until you reach the roof that represents the billionaires/rich/elites/ultra wealthy
Right now most if not all societies are a skyscraper that has rot, termites (that are eating the skyscraper), and disease running rampent through it.. It is doomed to collapse if we don't do anything about how we care for the lower floors.
The rich don't care about the lower floors since they have everything they need on their floor, and can trick themselves into remaining blind about how poorly the lower floors are doing...and how much the building is collapsing.
