Checking out Friendica as I’m interested in the concept of a self hosted federated social graph. Primarily I want to be able to “own” my own connections, and to have more control over who I allow to see my personal data. Mastadon is great, but it doesn’t seem to expose ACL support on content, at least not easily or by default.
I am a bit concerned about the “friendliness” of Friendica, as well as how well it integrates with other services. Also, the lack of any native iOS support is annoying.
