I’m pretty excited because I am 3/4 way to fixing my ember mug’s charging base, on my own.
I followed these steps and now i’m waiting for the new pegs i just purchased.
Once they’re here, i’ll solder them on the circuit board.
If this works… i’ll have fixed my first broken ciruit board connection!!

Ember Mug Charging Base Pogo Pins Replacement
The spring contacts, AKA pogo pins, are a common point of failure in the charging base for the Ember Mug. Replacement requires a spot of soldering.iFixit
