But honestly, why limit a boycott to the World Cup? Boycott FIFA, all of it.
FIFA gives lip service to democratic values while supporting violent, antidemocratic dystopian autocrats. Itโs a highly corrupt organisation and a huge grift.
So, make it hurt. Boycott local football clubs and let the clubs know why youโre doing it, because they via their football association are members of FIFA.
Weโre tired of the games & circuses.

Back in the 90s, when I was a teen, my high school had an exchange program with a high school in Boulder, Colorado. Participating in that exchange was an honor and a privilege. There was an extensive application process only a few pupils would pass.
Nowadays, my high school kids think the idea of visiting the #USA is a fevered dream, they wouldn't go there under any circumstances. And I'm very happy about this, I want my kids to be safe.
