Isn't it frustrating when the screen reader mode a website tells you to use makes the site totally inaccessible? This is exactly why we don't use accessibility overlays.

@Rich W. Beardsley Yes. I recall reading an article about it some time ago. I think it was on the Access Information site, but I could be wrong. It might have been Top Tech Tidbits. Either way, overlays are a serious problem. What angers me is that not everyone who uses them just wants to get the job done quickly to comply with rules. some people/companies honestly care about their clients/users and are tricked into believing that this is a good solution. This is especially heart-breaking when it's done to truly small companies, because they're essentially paying for rubbish!
