I contemplate whatever floats my boat
with reverent nonchalance of snarky joy
to prove I am more serious than Death
who always laughs at every joke I tell
to ease the pain of sudden nothingness
that every conscious being experiences.

With yearning eyes of eager quietude,
white cat in the window of the black house
watches red sparrows flit between pear trees
in frantic search to find the holy grail
which floats above the valley of cracked skulls
expertly handcrafted to mimic gods.

When screaming butterflies of Zathamar
reveal second coming of Phoebus Christ,
I crouch in cavern of the humming gems
which flash bright with dream ghost of everywhere
who always seems to know just how I feel
about the golden hurt of knowingness.

Because dream ghost of everywhere knows why
every organic being designed by lust
will wither with excessive fire of age,
I open every door to somewhere else
in the multiverse that bears number code
where all my doppelgangers become me.

Stark obsolescence of the sailing ship
confines my body to the cubicle
where I explore whole world of strange lands
in quest to understand the human mind
programmed by first mother of all mankind
to dispel illusion and see the real.

Thus every summer in the Promised Land
I wander snow fields of Antarctica
till angel wings sprout from my pulsing heart
so I can fly beyond the atmosphere
to float in tin can high above the world
one hundred thousand miles of silent light.

Orpheus strums wood lyre of Mercury
to translate timeless silence of the light
from anguish twisting weird psychotic truth
to pure religious doctrine of blind faith
that hypnotizes billions of weak minds
to believe God watches them from the clouds.

Enlivened as dream ghost of everywhere
with psychic ability to know why,
I stare at my face in mirror of art
till who I am becomes mask of my death
preserving Idea of the Blind Seer
who sees real structure of the universe.
