I sometimes wonder if any of the people all over Europe acknowledge that the land on which they live now was the traditional and unceded territory of my indigenous ancestors whom they attacked repeatedly over many centuries of migrations and warfare, forcing them to leave so that they sailed across the Atlantic Ocean and invaded unceded territory of other indigenous peoples in the Americas.

How far back would I have to go to find my "original homeland"? Ireland? Scotland? England? Sweden? Germany? Italy? Greece? Galatia? Scythia? Sarmatia? Assyria? Sumeria?

My ancestors kept migrating westward over the past 10,000 years to Scythia to Scotland to Massachusetts to Missouri so they all arrived by wagon train to Idaho by 1880, and I was born in Oregon.
