@Vivaldi possible to incorporate these add-ons to streamline efficiency and limit redundancy or is that being solved by encouraging all to host #blog with you?

#IRL does everyone need their own #Mastodon instance + #loops + #pixelFed to unlock the door to #freedom ?

Seemed cool, so I signed up. Great. Then tried to sign in and it said the credentials don't match your records (the password field is invisible so I can't make sure it's accurate, I have to just keep putting it in again and hoping), and when I gave up and just tried to sign up again, it said my username had been taken. 🤔 I checked my email and there's nothing from that domain so I didn't get any account confirmation.

Deleting an account is made unnecessarily difficult. In Mastodon or Pixelfed you go to settings, enter the password and confirm deletion. I don't believe this "We are working on automating the account deletion process", existing process looks more complicated than adding a button to delete an account and a password field.

If you register with an email address from which you cannot send, e.g. using DuckDuckGo Email Protection, it is impossible to delete your account.
