In digital life, as with other aspects of life, one thing leads to other. Sometimes interestingly. Two such happened in the past few weeks. Both being well-known to most, in fact a way of life to many, but somehow had escaped the likes of me involved in one's own stuff.

One being XMPP. While trying "Tails" (led to by a mention on some other site), discovered an included app that aids the mentioned. With a bit of R&D, created a account on a good service that listed reliable servers to register with, besides acting as an admirable client to safely interact.

On using the above, further discovered groups that you can preview without joining. One such post on a tech related led to Mastodon, and in turn the second: Fediverse. Having never got into Social media, this concept of decentralized, non-corporate, connecting to other such to follow things of interest, not being the intimidating type that's more concerned on the profiling user activities, etc and more etc, brought me here on Friendica.World.

I have had one or more blogs previously, and feel a bit confused on what to post here. So, excuse me if they sound more like blogposts than the casualty found on these platforms. I am here since yesterday, and made it a point to mark my presence in some way, and plan to make it a recurring habit if things permit.
