How I #buyCanadian is like this:
1. Look at the shelves for a maple leaf
2. Pull up #MapleScan on my cellphone
3. Double check by scanning it
4. If it’s a store brand, like No Name by Loblaws, but not a product of Canada, OR it says made in canada but NOT by a canadian company or parent company, I start scanning products on the shelf without a maple leaf.
5. Often times there ARE products on the shelf which are a true “ #productofCanada ”, by #canadiancompanies, sans maple leaf sticker with the price tag.

I’ll opt for #100%canadian where I can, mostly Canadian second, lastly made anywhere but the US.

I skip all these steps and look straight at the packaging. Labels on shelves and apps have not been reliable for me.

@Bowreality 🇨🇦 sometimes i find the packaging is tricky, sneaky, or lacking in info, and that bothers me.
So far, maple scan has given me the best results.
