I've had this account for a few weeks, and just now decided to make my #introduction, but I digress. Hello, I'm Evan (or Evanium if you like usernames) and I've decided to join the Fediverse because one corporation having that much control over things has always seemed kinda weird to me, so a way out is nice. In particular, I like Friendica as a platform because I can turn it into a social media Swiss Army Knife of sorts, if that makes any sense, by importing other services into it. Also, the unlimited word count is just fun! It's like a mini-blog!

In terms of a little about me, I'm big into technology and computers, and games are a really fun hobby. Also film and movies I love too. I don't know, now that I write about myself, I realize it's hard to mention it all! Point is, I'm here to try decentralized social media, so let's hope I have fun with it!
