Tricked by the frantic clock of nevertime,
I race across the waste land without wings
to follow haughty horse of global fame
who teaches me strict archery of wrongs
embodied by brave warriors fighting gods
whose fears control dreams of our psychic grids.

Lured by the flashing clock of everywhere,
I type adaptive tales of ardent minds
based on assessment of the puppeteer
who advocates retrieval by quick hands
of new synthetic concepts from dire fruit
designed to cycle emotional freight.

Trapped by the moral clock of vanity,
I paint enormous murals from sea slime
depicting bitter gods with honesty
unlucky to mature from social shame
who cling to magic thinking about love
as optioned objects festering in the cave.

Launched by the private clock of abjectness,
I twist soul servitude of loyal faith
to weave assertive wings of deviousness
in holy mission to blaze my own path
on sacred quest to find the Promised Land
watered by celestial tunes of the pond.

Wired by the ancient clock of confidence,
I customize my heart with currency
contrived to purchase social competence
in bid to launch career with potency
through cultural custody of molecules
in catalogs of psychic chemicals.

Doomed by the coding clock of pieties,
I spend my working hours in cubicles
erasing portraits of celebrities
whose tragic tales are cleansed as musicals
through mythic roles performed by faceless folk
depicting world view that praises the woke.

Cursed by the morbid clock of dividends,
I calculate rich profits from thought sales
earned through financial support of fake friends
who hang masks of their faces on stone walls
that should preserve true spirits of our hearts
for millions of years on tropical charts.

Framed by the artful clock of gaieties,
I build new world view for the world to use
that forges courage from anxieties
through clever guidance of my earnest Muse
who teaches me to translate songs of waves
to principles for brave creative lives.
