Near South Lake Tahoe. My friend got a tip from a local that if we went to a certain hiking location, birds would feed right out of your hand.

I didn’t believe it for a second. I do now!

At first I had dried corn but then switched to sunflower seeds and they went wild!!!

I know humming-birds are known for this behavior but I still remember a couple years ago during a snow-storm in #seattle when my over-wintering #anna 's swooped down to get their juicy-juice before I could even put the feeder up. Poor guys must have been starving.
