Over the last month or so, I have found myself questioning this whole naturist lifestyle. The reason......Twitter.

We as naturist enjoy sharing our adventures, outings and thoughts with those enjoying this same choice. However, we are bombarded with request after request from so called "naturists". Only to find more porn, less naturism. To the point I was actually questioning the honesty and purity of it all. Then, as if the Greek goddess Astrea herself heard my pleas, the answer was delivered to me.

Today, as we relaxed and enjoyed this glorious day at the river, we encountered and spoke to many different people. Nothing much out of the ordinary until we were preparing to gather our things and head back home. Over the hill walked the one thing I was desperately searching for. Having never seen them before, it was a father, mother, son (about 6 yrs old) and a little white poodle. The father nude, mother in just a t-shirt and son fully dressed. They walked by as we acknowledge each other and continued on to a little peninsula across from us. As we sat there I watched the purist of interactions.

No sooner than they got to the sandy beach, everyone's clothes were off and the fun and laughter began. The poodle chasing the boy and dad and son daring each other to walk deeper into the cold water. All while the mother watches in delight at her family enjoying this day and making happy memories. Wanting to remember this precious moment, we gave them a wave as we departed. Without realizing it, this family gave me something far more valuable........the restoration of my faith in naturism.
