About 3 weeks ago, I bought a ritual djembe drum from a seller on etsy. I was worried it would arrive after I left but lucky for me it came today. I have not had a ritual drum for years, ever since my ex-husband broke my last one. And it was just too expensive to replace for years. But I really miss drumming for ritual or for grounding or energy work. So I bought one and it's here! I'm going to dedicate it on the equinox! It is SO tactile and beautiful! I'm excited!

@pixy I plan on it! Sadly I'm leaving for a trip so I'll have to wait. The dogs sniffed it all over and we'll see what they think of the drumming when I do it but they're service dogs who work the mean streets of New Orleans. Once you've worked through carnival ... nothing phases you much lol

Owwww yay!
Ow yeah you've been preparing for that trip for a while.
I hope the two that will stay behind will have a good time with their carers and friends. And that your trip will be a good one.
And yeah, I guess they won't be too phased by the drum if they've been through a carnival before.
Have a good evening.

The top part of the drum is black with a brown pattern around the top. Black ropes come down vertically from the top and wrap around the middle.

The bottom part of the drum is brown. The Triple Goddess symbol is black and around the bottom it's black with the same brown pattern from above mirrored.
