Add image to Calendar Event

Hi, I am new to Friendica and just discovered this super-sweet feature of an integrated calendar. I wonder how I can add an image to a calendar event?

PS: If this is the wrong forum to ask, please point me in the right direction. :-)

You've come to the right place :).

Use BBCode in the calendar. It will look like this

Thanks, I assume I have to upload the foto first to fotos or media, and then copy & paste the link into the tag. Right?

Correct. The image should be located on the node and the image rights should be set to Public.
However, this is not mandatory. You can embed any image that is available on the Internet in this way, as long as you are authorised to do so by the owner.

Just tried, works awesome! How do I enter location data, just a simple address or can I also add GPS coordinates?

It could be that you need to activate the map addon. Friendica is very modular via its addon system.

As a rule, your admin will be happy to activate such add-ons.

Alternatively, you can look here dir.friendica.social/servers. With the ending /friendica after the domain name, the activated addon will be displayed.

Dear Matthias, thanks a lot for patiently answering my questions! I am excited about all the stuff to discover at Friendica (although I feel a little like I am using the internet in the 90ies again...).

I think in the frio theme you have to go via the "Browser" tab in the event creation dialog to insert a new image.
