Resting in Peace Through the Decades.

Kapunda Cemetery, Kapunda, South Australia.

Kapunda is home to two primary historical cemeteries: the Kapunda Cemetery (the main town cemetery) and the St John’s Catholic Cemetery, which is located a few kilometres outside of town and carries a more somber, legendary history.

Kapunda Cemetery serves as a record of the pioneers who built the copper mining town.

A black and white photograph focusing on an arched white marble headstone for Elizabeth and W.T. Trevena. The inscription is brightly lit by direct sunlight, reading "Loving memory of Elizabeth, beloved wife of W.T. Trevena, who died Nov 1st 1912, aged 60 years", followed by details for her husband who passed away in 1928. The composition is framed by darker, out of focus headstones in the foreground, with a watermark in the upper left corner.
