In a violation of foundational ethical principles of human participant research, the Trump Administration axed 383 clinical trials.
Of the canceled trials, 118 (31 percent) were for cancers, 97 (25 percent) were for infectious diseases, 48 (12.5 percent) were for reproductive health, and 47 (12 percent) were for mental health.

It makes no sense to me. Trump doesn't understand science though, or the scientific process. Simple sounding solutions peddled by grifters like RFK Jr are more his style. So maybe he thinks we don't need new cures for cancer, etc. 🤷🏻
