Feeling rough, change of plans today has left me very disregulated and upset.

I freaking LOVE hearing about people's special interests, it makes me so happy.

So if anyone would like to share something that makes their heart sing, I'd be very grateful 💜

For instance, did you know that bats make up 20% of all mammal species‽ Isn't that incredible! Amazing creatures 🦇

Oh wow! It is incredible.

I’m a bit burnt out after a very busy few weeks, so I’m not singing right now, but had a lovely time at the beach today so that was good.

Another quiet day tomorrow while partner is at golf. Not as hot tomorrow, so maybe some time in the lovely local park.

What else do you do for comfort when disregulated? My cats help, hugs from the right people, sorting & using my new colour pencils (I can’t really draw, but I love colourful doodles.) Knitting too, but not in summer.

In cool weather, I find the feel of yarn soothing, but not in hot weather, even if the aircon is on.

We get some very hot days in Melbourne, but what we might call “hellish” (as opposed to what people from milder climates would think), only happens every few years and for a few days. That could all change of course.

Hmm... My biggest special interest has been Arwen for the last almost 12 years. 🐾 💜

Arwen, a chocolate brown Labrador puppy, aged three weeks, wearing a yellow ribbon, lying in her puppy bed with her brothers and sisters. This was the first time I met her, August 2013.

A spread of many examples of the fungal genus Corinarious, the largest genus of mushroom forming fungi in the world.

A mushroom alignment chart. Agaricus bisporus is True Neutral, all other are weird.
