That ancient image carved from olive wood
depicting wise Athena Polias,
which stood in the sacred Erechtheum
one hundred years of social revolution,
inspired Socrates and Plato to quest
for truth of life through the language we speak.
Though statue of Athena Polias
vanished long ago from dream of the world,
her spirit lives as flame inside my heart
with two and a half millennia of wisdom
encoded in philosophy of truth
to program how I perceive spinning Earth.
Ingenious lovely things have all returned
through miracle of science we design
to shine as beacon on the rocky shore
so ships of seekers map the Promised Land
where they may build with courage of the lost
new home of the brave in land of the free.
Our honor builds new mighty monument
with noble triumph on that shining hill
where freedom-loving men once reigned as guides
to serve good People of the Evening Land,
till from foul swamp of greed the tyrant crawls
to slouch with toxic hate in the White House.
No longer protected with paper walls
of howling books from spiral of the moon,
we wander circles in daily routines
with indifferent passion to survive war
fought in cyberspace of the psychic law
between nationalists and globalists.
Soon from deep abyss of the swirling sea
will rise the Hidden Dragon of world power
to challenge supremacy of the Eagle
which shall wake from its century-long slumber
Jovian Lion from mists of Avalon
who joins the Bear in world war for the Earth.
I feel deep in dark cavern of my heart
bright spirit of Athena stir from sleep
to rouse my soul from tomb of unknown gods
and stand in hall of the Acropolis
where she holds Torch of Liberty that shines
clear through choking darkness of tyranny.
That timeless image molded from our hearts
depicting wise Athena Polias,
shall stand in the sacred Erechtheum
one hundred thousand years of divine truth
to inspire people of the Earth to quest
for truth of life through the language we speak.
