Good morning Fellow Travellers around the Sun ☀️ Coffee has been poured and munching is well underway here at Parrot Central after a successful medication delivery to Ziggy, who once again practically licked the chrome off the spoon so eager was she to get the baby food. I ordered new meds, and despite the other one not being quite finished, I tried this instead. It appears that the stuff may go off earlier than anticipated and this is why Zigs was refusing them. Unfortunately there are no real meds for parrots - they are usually dog/cat pills mixed in tiny amounts with water. Not enough research (or money making opportunities for the pharmaceutical companies) in birds I guess.🤷🏻‍♀️

Sunday chores this morning and an old friend I haven't seen in years coming around later for a cuppa and a chat 🙂 And some crochet, as a new order came in yesterday.

@JustFi Morning Fi 🌞 I haven't seen my pal in years so it should be fun. I hope you are feeling a bit better today and have a nice restful day 🤗 I will need to do some crochet today as an order came in over the weekend and I also need to start the competition project now that I have the yarn for it. Tempting to just keep playing BG3 later though - I managed to take care of Aunty Ethel yesterday and fought a few more battles in the Underdark that I also managed to win (eventually 😉).

Sounds like you are finding your mojo with BG3 and maybe you should play more once the visit with your friend is done with.
I'm feeling much the same tbh, I might try a bit of stitching today, see if I have the co-ordination for that, playing my usual games is just a bit too much for me at the moment.

@JustFi I can see you with horns and a wee pitchfork there on my left shoulder 😂 I do hope you start to feel better soon. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of it for you once they've reviewed the scans and such.

Seems silly starting new crochet projects after the visit, keep that for tomorrow after work 😇
My worry is that the consultant said if its not a stroke its probably a migraine, this does not feel like a migraine at all. But, no point stressing about that, what will be, will be, so long as I keep kicking!

@JustFi A few years ago I ended up getting an MRI after a banging headache that had lasted a month with no let up. I mean banging and that woo woo feeling all the time, dizzy standing up, all of that. They told me it was a "slow migraine", whatever that means 🙂 Gave me heavy meds that just made me nauseous all the time so I didn't take them. It went away by itself after a few weeks and that was that. Still no idea what it actually was.

Last time I ended up in hospital with a headache and weakness, it was completely different to this, I mean I could speak for one thing and the weakness cleared up within an hour, the headache lasted about 10 days, didn't get an MRI then, just a CT and lumbar puncture and a diagnosis of migraine. This is so different, I'm going to keep a diary for my review appointment after the MRI, although I am going to need to get the child to help me with it because my brain is scrambled right now - different level than the usual brain fog.

Its honestly horrific. Went to B & Q with Billy yesterday, a very very slow trip, even the woman serving us commented that I looked done in, she looked seriously worried tbh. So I clearly can't even hide how I am feeling.

I don't think I could live through a month of that, but then you do, I often get health care where they ask me what's causing it, and I kind of went there to get a second opinion lol

@sunumbral If I've learned anything with the ME and all, it's that doctors often don't have a clue. It's not surprising, given how complicated the human systems are, but when you are brought up to think of the medical profession as all knowing, it's a bit of a shock when you first realise that's not the case 🙂
