My current server here in the broad Fediverse, friendica.world, has been having some serious problems of late. One impact was that the notification services which send out things to followers' servers once I have posted something were not running -- meaning I continued to post all sorts of quotations, but none of them were getting out there to folk.

I think I am seeing signs of that backlog beginning to break, which would be awesome news if it pans out. The server still needs the latest Friendica upgrade (which I am told is in the plans), but the fact that people are beginning to actually see the things I have been posted makes me feel much better.

(Of course, this explanatory note may not show up until all the backlog has been handled. Ah, well. Or catching up on the backlog might cause its own exciting problem before all that happens.)
