Juxtaposed concepts of essential truths
refuse to concentrate chemical lust
with certain modes of dream intensity
that fracture world views with base clarity
to chronicle return of the sad seer
who would confront neither nature nor grief.

Inspired by monuments of faceless gods,
who cheer our search for naked paradox
through unfathomable state of surreal faith,
we generalize painful experience
with plot of success for the noble cause
that contrasts unique authenticity.

Disequilibrium through miracles
allows our souls to pervade cosmic planes
with obvious progress of intact plays
when we launch our project to conquer hate
with gentle brutality of brave hope
embodied by twisted yucca in mist.

Grotesque idol of Daphne comes alive
with thwarted happiness of dancing dolls
whose fractured bodies imitate the moon,
jagged shards of severed relationships
we cannot revive with the damaged tool
to commemorate failure of true love.

Sheaves from tattered novel of the blind girl
swirl too slowly in anonymous wind
to understand emptied boxes of thoughts
stuck forever in taut telephone lines
where voices of the dead still crackle faint
with sense of contradicted knowledge lost.

Frustrated plot of paralyzed respect
lurks out of sight in sequence of weird scenes
unclouded by oppressive rules of hate
which cannot communicate sudden fear
through clocked antics of brushstrokes that impress
our minds with tangible surface of lies.

Standard perspective of museum paintings
implies procedure everyone adjusts
with surficial strangeness misaligned
before chessboard shadow of uncrowned king
strips all memories of painful assaults
from minds of abandoned clones in the church.

Maples frame strange relation of contempt
with uprooted tribes trapped in city zoos
to play protagonists of talking birds
who sell precious faith to unmarried clowns
wearing silver suits in banks where they work
stealing memories from demented kings.
