This social network has big potential
This is so much lighter and simpler than Facebook.
I've been on the website for a few minutes and already loving it.
Reminds me very much of Google Plus RIP. It was just as light and snappy as this.
I really hope Friendica takes off and becomes a popular alternative for the buggy and heavy censorship dystopian network Facebook.

in reply to David Johnson • •I remember using Google Plus and LOVING it to the core, but because it was a desert that no one visited, it failed in a couple of years or so. Even Eric Schmidt then admitted after a few months that he wasn't using it any longer.
I strongly believe that's what's gonna happen here. I've been using decentralized social media for a while and now I fully understand why Elon Musk bought X for 44 Billion dollars instead of making a new social platform from scratch for much lower cost.

The big companies have very insightful algorithms now that make their products super-addictive for most people, but who knows what's gonna happen?
