@Loungeiguana genuine question: why? Is there something fundamental which means X is preferable to a decentralized locally run system like Mastodon? Surely war is the greatest motivator to make change and not use the 'everyone else is using it' excuse for not changing?
@Niall I think politicians from all countries have demonstrated a clear unwillingness to make ideological decisions about their social media presence.
In Denmark, the most left wing parties bought X subscriptions instead of leaving. They are literally campaigning on fighting the evil oligarchs… while sponsoring Elon Musk.
