Sono al lavoro, ho diversi ordini sul bancone e la mia collega prepara il latte da versare nei caffè, c’è un momento in cui guardo alle ricevute per capire quali caffe’ da fare e lì che arriva …… un fortissimo déjà vu, in quell’ istante familiare del già vissuto realizzo che sono già stato in quel negozio, davanti a quella macchina del caffè’, in quel piccolo spazio condiviso con questa collega, il muro, il ricordo di essermi svegliato una mattina ripensando al fatto di aver sognato un posto di lavoro in cui non ero mai stato …… fino ad oggi, mesi dopo.

La domanda sorge spontanea, cosa è la realtà …… in realtà? ….. anextraordinaryandordinarylife…

Una piccola donazione per una famiglia in disperato bisogno di aiuto

Volevo mandarti un messaggio personalizzato, ma non ho avuto la possibilità, però consideralo come se lo avessi scritto solo per te.
Sono un volontario che si dedica quasi 24ore su24 per chi soffre. Vi voglio parlare con il cuore in mano e tante lacrime che stanno bagnando la mia anima:
Sto vivendo un momento di disperazione per una famiglia con bimbi che conosco da 10 anni…
Hanno gravi problemi che mi stanno facendo soffrire profondamente, ma Gesù ci dice:
Non c’è cosa PIÙ GRANDE che DARE LA VITA per i propri amici.
hanno tre problemi che lì rendono unici nel loro dolore:

i tre bimbi hanno malattie gravi, ma ancora nessun riconoscimento di pensione.
-il padre ha perso da quasi un anno il lavoro per il covid
hanno subito bullismo e a tutt’ora sono fuggiti dalla casa popolare di residenza.
Ora ne hanno ricevuto una finalmente, ma devono farci tante spese a carico loro(circa 7-8000€)
Ti mando ora l’elenco dei loro principali bisogni:

una macchina per il lavoro per la mamma e per il papà e per portare i bimbi con molte malattie croniche e importanti a fare molto spesso(due o tre volte a settimana) le visite a molti chilometri di distanza.
50€ al mese per integratori per l’anemia falciforme grave della mamma e figlia.
200€ al mese per varie spese che non riescono ad avere con il pacco delle associazioni.
in futuro per tentare di fermare l’avanzata della loro(madre e figli) retinite pigmentosa che per ora non è curabile è stato prescritto all’ospedale di Ancona una permanenza di alcuni giorni in una clinica a Napoli.
Questo richiede uno sforzo economico non indifferente.
sostenere spese per la scuola dei bimbi.
Ho chiesto ad associazioni ed enti ad amici e parenti… ora però devo allargare la rete perché le spese sono tante.
Ho pensato che avendo tanti amici sia reali che virtuali sui Social media, se ognuno di noi di buona volontà e di grande sensibilità mettessimo, sempre nella libertà,
delle piccole gocce…secondo le nostre possibilità potremo insieme salvare questa famiglia perché rischiano che possano perdere la casa popolare e ritrovarsi senza casa e per dei bambini malati, che io ho seguito e seguo personalmente, dobbiamo cercare di evitarlo.
Chiedo al vostro buon cuore una goccia per fare un piccolo oceano per risollevare questa famiglia piena di prove. Dio ce ne renderà merito. E vi chiedo anche e soprattutto di pregare tanto per loro. Grazie

I am a volunteer who devotes himself almost 24 hours a day to those who suffer, I want to speak to you with my heart in my hand and many tears that are wetting my soul:
I am experiencing a moment of desperation for a family with children I have known for 10 years….
They have serious problems that are making me suffer deeply, but Jesus tells us:
There is nothing GREATER than giving your life for your friends.
They have three problems that make them unique in their pain:

the three children have serious illnesses, but still no pension.
the father lost his job almost a year ago due to covid
they have been bullied and have been running away from the council house where they live.
Now they have finally received one, but they have to pay a lot of expenses (about 7-8000€).
I’ll send you a list of their main needs:

a car for work for mum and dad and to take the children with many chronic and important illnesses to make very frequent (two or three times a week) visits many kilometres away.
50€ per month for supplements for mother and daughter’s severe sickle cell anemia.
200€ a month for various expenses that they can’t get with the associations’ package.
In the future, to try to stop the advance of their (mother and children) retinitis pigmentosa, which is not curable at the moment, the hospital in Ancona has been prescribed a stay of a few days in a clinic in Naples.
This requires a considerable economic effort.
Supporting expenses for the children’s school.
I’ve asked associations and organisations, friends and relatives… but now I have to expand the network because there are so many expenses.
I thought that since I have so many friends, both real and virtual, on social media, if each one of us with good will and great sensitivity were to put some small drops … according to my opinion … in freedom,
…according to our possibilities, we could save this family together, because they risk losing their council house and finding themselves homeless, and we must try to avoid this for sick children, whom I have followed and follow personally.

The Crime and Policing Bill is currently going through its second reading in the House of Lords.

Earlier this year, thousands of Liberty supporters came together to email their MPs and apply pressure on them to vote against the dangerous proposals in this Bill. Despite our combined efforts, we were disappointed to see that the Crime and Policing Bill was voted through in the House of Commons. We must now re-focus our attentions on the Bill as it progresses through the House of Lords.

The Labour Government resurrected a Conversative anti-protest plan that intends to strip fundamental rights away from countless people. Labour's Crime and Policing Bill is threatening to ban face coverings at protests. This would be yet another blow to our right to protest safely.

Some of us wear face masks to protect ourselves, other demonstrators, or loved ones from infection. Some of us cover our faces for religious reasons. Some of us who speak out against the actions of other States might wear face masks to protect ourselves and our loved ones living in those countries from repercussions. Some of us cover up to protect our privacy. Whatever your reasoning, we should all be allowed to choose how we protect ourselves freely when standing up for our rights.

But now we want to hear from you.

Respond to this email and let us know why you wear a face covering at protests. Please share this email with your friends and family so we can hear from as many people as possible. We need your help to show that there are many legitimate reasons that people need to wear face coverings at protests. We all deserve to protest safely.

The rabbit hole

Dreams played a big part in the two months I spent on the coffee plantation in Thailand, it was as if they wanted to tell me something, there were so many of them, and only when I woke up could I distinguish between the ones we might call “real” and those that occurred during… sleep.

One night, immersed in this parallel reality as I now see it, I met an old friend from when I was a boy and lived in San Benedetto del Tronto, and we talked about many things, but only one sentence remained indelibly etched in my mind… He said to me, “Go down the rabbit hole and find out how deep the hole is”, the same phrase Morpheus said to Neo when he was trying to make him understand that the world he lived in was just an illusion, I woke up immediately with this phrase and the face of my old friend imprinted in my mind, what was he trying to tell me or make me understand? I already know that life is not what it seems, but I’m still not sure what he meant, perhaps it was just a sign that the path I had taken on that farm was the right one.

I start the day with meditation, reading, writing a little on my blog, then I go to have breakfast and the plantation manager tells me that he is going to Chiang Rai and if I want I can bring forward my day off and go with him, I happily accept the chance to visit the city and its cafés. …… anextraordinaryandordinarylife…

La tana del coniglio

I sogni hanno giocato un grosso ruolo nei due mesi spesi nella piantagione di caffe’ in Thailandia, e’ stato come se mi volessero raccontare qualcosa, ce ne sono stati tanti e alcuni che solo con il cosiddetto risveglio ho potuto distinguere da quelli, chiamiamoli “reali” e quelli durante il …… sonno.

Una notte immerso in questa realtà parallela come ora la vedo, incontro un vecchio amico di quando ero ragazzino e vivevo a San Benedetto del Tronto e parliamo di molte cose ma solo una frase e’ rimasta indelebile dentro di me ….. mi dice “entra nella tana del coniglio e scopri quanto è profondo il buco” la stessa frase che Morpheus disse a Neo quando stava cercando di fargli capire che il mondo in cui viveva era solo in illusione, mi sveglio immediatamente con impressa dentro di me questa frase e la faccia di questo mio vecchio amico, cosa cercava di dirmi o di farmi capire? So già che la vita non è quello che sembra, ma ancora non sono sicuro che cosa intendesse, forse era solo un segno che il percorso intrapreso in quella fattoria era quello giusto.

Inizio la giornata, meditazione, lettura, scrivo un po’ sul mio blog, mi avvio a fare colazione e il manager della piantagione mi dice che andrà a Chiang Rai e se voglio posso anticipare la mia giornata di riposo e andare con lui, accento con gioia la possibilità di visitare la città e le caffetterie. …. anextraordinaryandordinarylife…
