Burk drank the #USrepublican kool-aid, that’s pretty clear. Hypocrite. If she supports the turnip so strongly, she really should reconsidering moving back to the #US. She’s the fanbase he desperately wants living in his country. Don’t like how #Canadians feel? You’re free to go and quit using our nation’s free health care.

Canadian Phone Companies better Get With EU.

The #US is clueless if they think #Canada will drown without them. Big #Canadian businesses buy from and collab with them because we are loyal to our #allies. THAT has all changed.

As if we can’t collab with other countries?
It’s laughable.
Presently I am researching common tech made and sold by #EUcountries. Figuring out which #smartphone, #tablet and #earbuds I like, before our Canadian phone companies and tech stores make their switches to offering plans including them.

Canadians, if you can’t find it made in Canada, find it made in Europe.

I have come to greatly dislike shopping at grocery chains.
During this #tradewar with Bozo47, I’m more of a conscious consumer.
I realize majoroty of #Loblaws’ house brands are packages and presented as “canadian” in sneaky ways, there is a #Cdnmapleleaf on the price tag claiming its canadian.

Only #cdn thing about it is the company who is selling it.. likely from the #US.

Trump has a hardon for CDNs dairy industry

I vote for Canadians to up their personal monthly dairy quota (if you consume dairy), and our #federalgovernment discontinues all dairy import/export with the #US. Then allow our dairy farmers to fill the gap left behind by the low quality S#USdairy.

#Saskatchewan’s contributions in the #CAN-#US #tradewar: Seeking diplomatic resolutions to tariffs while pursuing new international opportunities

I’m struggling here.. They have #Cameco.. a #Canadian mining company, whom has a US subsidiary with 2 mining locations in the US.
Is that why the whole province is playing it safe?

Dairy Trade Flows Between The US And Canada

#US - One of the most common questions asked of the Foreign Agricultural Service (#FAS) office based in the United States #Embassy in #Ottawa, #Canada is why Canada is able to restrict the entry of US #dairy #products into Canada, and yet Canada is able to #export dairy products to the United States. This report, by the #USDA Foreign #Agricultural Service, attempts to provide a clear explanation using yogurt #trade as a case study.

“ The Canadian Supply Management System in Dairy

Since 1970 Canada's dairy industry has been operating under a supply management system by which supply is matched with domestic demand. In the process of controlling the supply the amount of imports are made predictable through a system of tariff rate quotas. Canada annually allows in a pre- determined amount of dairy products in various categories duty free from the United States, but once the volume limit has been reached (quota), anything over that amount is subject to tariffs of a minimum of 200 per cent and up to 313.5 per cent.”
