Sunday Afternoon Down McWay Way...
I've been trying for over two years to get a good photo of McWay Falls in Big Sur and something always seems to keep it from happening (weather, crowds, waterfall dry, etc.)
Sunday was the first day that I got some shots I actually like:

Walking Among The Giants - Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park:
This past New Yearโs Eve was an opportunity to spend a day at the Roaring Camp and the adjacent Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. While Evelia and I did get to ride on the Steam Rail Tour (pulled by the Dixiana Shay) which is a must-do if you love Rail (and especially Steam Rail), we also never pass up the opportunity to walk among the California Redwoods at Henry Cowell:
While I have yet to see a โbadโ day there, this "Day Before the New Year" was particularly beautiful as the grounds, which were wet and cold from the recent rains, were rapidly being heated by the warmth and the sun, causing an almost magical world of rolling mists and streaks of sunlight among the giants:
