If a programming language is defined by prompts that instruct a computer on what to do then a WYSIWYG editor is a form of programming language. Here’s why:
However, by definition, traditional programming languages offer more opportunities for expression, and WYSIWYG editors generally lack syntax and grammar that typical programming languages have.
But if we define programming as “instructing a computer to perform tasks,” then WYSIWYG editors fit as a visual, domain-specific “language” for programming layouts and styles.
Okay, in Star Trek, why isn’t Lt. Uhura more important?

Talk to aliens? That’s Uhura’s job. Send a message from the bridge to engineering? All Uhura. Ensuring the Enterprise ain’t hacked? Again, Uhura.

!New To Friendica I have tried to make some channels. Attached is a screenshot of the settings for an example channel.
Seems as if they should work, but posts only occasionally show up in them. And the few posts that have appeared over the last couple weeks don't seem to have a common element to them, i.e. they are not from any particular instance.
I'm wonder what is going on and whether I can fix it.

It's a seasonal city that is extremely bicycle friendly thanks to the Root River Trail, one of the first Rails-to-Trails multi-use paths. Downside is the shops perceive bicycles more as recreation than transportation when they put in bicycle parking, remembering what they used in elementary school instead of using modern best practices.
But also, as someone who has used my bicycle as my main transportation, I appreciate having *anywhere* to lock my bicycle.
Folks on #Bluesky are getting smug about how #Threads are serving ads.
But let’s be real: ads are likely to come to Bluesky too. And it will be worse on Bluesky because Bluesky controls the relays and firehose.
However, on the Fediverse, I control both relays and feeds—the server that I own does everything.

Photos of the internal damage caused by a drone strike on the wing of a CL-415 waterbomber in California 10 days ago show that even tiny drones pack a punch. The drone, pieces of which were recovered from inside the wing, has been identified as weighing less than half a pound. The impact over Pacific Palisades bent the front of a rib and a horizontal leading edge member, and the water-scooping amphib required significant repairs.

Mastodon/Bluesky bridge should work the same for Friendica.
But there is more. There is a Friendica-specific "bridge" to Bluesky, which connects your Bluesky account to Friendica. This makes Friendica a Bluesky client, so you will be able to interact with any Bluesky account (not only these who opted in to federation to Mastodon) - as you will interact with them as a Bluesky user.
Go to Settings → Social Networks. Do you see "Bluesky Import/Export"? If not, ask your admin to add it.
The same thing can be possible with Tumblr (which does not even federate!)

Haha, she strikes me as more of a Run-D.M.C. type of gal. Tougher Than Leather came out that year.
I noticed that too about the media, and that the radio is unplugged. Perhaps the cassette player is a recent upgrade?
