Ich meinte es als durch die EU finanziertes Projekt, ohne jegliche Regierungseinmischung. Das heißt keine Werbung usw.
Aber bei 27 Regierungen sowieso unmöglich.
Kommerziell heißt ja wieder Werbung usw. dann kann man es auch sein lassen.

Die Privaten können sich gerne durch Nutzerdaten finanzieren. Persönlich sehe ich nichts verwerfliches daran. Beide Parteien gehen einen Vertrag ein. Eine bewusste Entscheidung.

I saw the presentation: it was great! Only one thing that I missed: what about GTK4? This is something for the longer term?

Ich bin da auch ein wenig überfragt.
Die Frage ist, wie @Hiker schon erwähnte: Wo liegt da die Grenze?
Mal abgesehen davon, dass es mir im Prinzip wurscht ist, wie man es nennt... für mich persönlich wäre es Microblogging, wenn es eine fest vorgegebene Zeichenbegrenzung "im unteren Bereich" gibt. Da würde für mich persönlich vermutlich auch "noch" die 3.500 Zeichen dazugehören.
Mit unbegrenzter Zeichenanzahl wäre es dann ergo Macroblogging...
Aber wie gesagt, im Prinzip ist das wurscht, meiner Meinung nach. Für mich war eher wichtig, dass man noch einmal klar aufzeigt, dass es mehr als "nur" Mastodon gibt, deswegen hatte ich dieses Bild geteilt. 😉
